About Mablethorpe Skatepark

The park opened in 2013 after a long campaign begun by local resident Margaret Coddling and the late Mike McDonald then in the role of the towns Business and Tourism Development manager.

This is fantastic news for the town and young people in the area. Grandparents and parents will come to the town with their children to use the facility and this will help the local businesses. This is the beginning of good things for Mablethorpe and the skatepark will be a real asset.

Margaret Coddling - Mablethorpe Skatepark Committee

After further campaigning by the Skatepark Committee, assisted by MAP CIC operations Manager Karen Froggatt, the park received a £40k extension in 2016 to incorporate more challenging ramps.
